In order for funding to qualify as tax deductible, all checks must be made out to Grand Aspirations co/ Global Exchange. Global Exchange will be doing all the accounting, sending thank you letters, writing student stipends and doing all of the taxes. After a small percentage of the tax deductible donations is given to Global Exchange for these services, the remainder will go into an account devoted strictly to paying student stipends for Summer of Solutions.

All checks should be sent to Grand Aspirations, 1769 Grand Ave. St Paul, MN 55105.  We are recording all of the donations we are receiving, totaling up them up every month, and sending the tax deductible donations to Global Exchange.  

Global Exchange will send thank you letters to all of the donors.  These will serve as the receipts which donors can use to get tax deductions.   

If you are collecting any money which does not need to be tax deductible you can make the checks out to Grand Aspirations. Generally, if somebody is giving a donation of less than $100 dollars they do not mind if it is tax exempt.
