The Northwest Institute for Community Energy
NICE is Grand Aspiration's primary partner in running The Summer of Solutions, bringing their experiences from hosting the first Northwest Institute for Community into our leadership team. NICE leaders are working to support Summer of Solutions Teams in the Northwest and create a long-term center for grassroots green economy projects in the Northwest.

Global Exchange is a membership-based international human rights organization dedicated to promoting social, economic and environmental justice around the world.

Global Exchange is Grand Aspirations's fiscal sponsor, providing non-profit status for the Summer of Solutions and helping us figure out fundraising, program design, and more.

The Sierra Student Coalition
The Sierra Student Coalition (SSC) is a network of high school and college students from across the country working to protect the environment. The SSC is the youth-run (age 14-30) chapter of the Sierra Club, the nation's oldest and largest grassroots environmental organization.

The SSC is a supporting partner of the Summer of Solutions, connecting our effort with a major grassroots base of youth leaders - including several local program leaders - and providing support with media, program design, and integration with the SSC's youth training programs (SPROGs)

The Trek to Re-Energize America
The Trek to Re-Energize America is a bike trip to Washington D.C. Riders will depart from all across the country, sweeping up media attention and grassroots support as they go to highlight local efforts and mobilize communities and political leaders for leadership on climate solutions.

The Trek is participating as a non-residential part of the Summer of Solutions that will highlight the efforts of local programs as they pass by and serve to interconnect the local work of the program in a larger national message.
